Veterans Tennis Tournament

We are pleased to announce that a new Veterans tennis tournament will be played at the fantastic venue of the Oxfordshire Health & Racquets Club (Esporta Oxford) on Easter weekend 2011.  Starting on Saturday 23rd April and running until Monday 25th April the tournament has provisionally been agreed with the LTA as a Grade 4 sanctioned event and is also delighted with the support provided by Vets Tennis GB.

The event will predominantly be played on 12 outdoor astroturf courts (main draw) and 4 hard courts (consolation matches). There is a back-up provision of 4 indoor tennis courts to ensure key matches for the event will continue regardless of the weather.  The age groups will be over 35's, over 45's over 55's and over 65's.  All events will be for Mens, Ladies and Doubles.

We will also possibly (if the weather is kind to us) run one age-group of Mixed Doubles (probably over 50's) which will be sign-up by the end of Saturday 23rd April.

There are a number of details that we will be confirming over the coming weeks, but hope these will be finalised by the end of September such the event can then be entered online or via post.

3) We are planning for evening dinners for competitors and their friends on the Saturday and Sunday evenings and hope to also provide some details of these.

Online entry can be made via the LTA website from February 2011 (so that PayPal payments can be refunded without charge if a player withdraws).  If you would like to enter before, then please enter on the on-line form below and then post us a cheque for entry cost).  We update the LTA website when the entry and payment are received and we do not bank the cheques until the event starts.  Entry costs will be £16 per singles event and £8 per doubles event. Cheques are payable to My Club Coach Ltd.
